Media Institute DIA has a long history in (academic) teaching. At the moment all courses are at the Gaasterlandstraat in an old-school next to station RAI on the Zuidas. The method of practice based learning is used in almost all courses and programs. From theory to practice and back to the theory. The participants not only learn about several forms of media but they also experience the practical sides using and working with media. Under the guidance of media professionals they become equipped to independently work with media and to understand media. Beside facilitating programs and short courses the media institute DIA collaborates with different organizations within the field of media: Andere Tijden, Tegenlicht, magazine CUL, De Coöperatie DUS film and several other partners.
