Marta Gómez-Rodulfo is a Spanish writer, freelance journalist and teacher, based in Amsterdam.

Graduate in Information Sciences -Universidad Complutense de Madrid- she has been a freelance journalist since 2000 and a Diploma in Human Rights for journalists -Universidad Iberoamericana, México-.

She has published three books: “Journalism for dummies” (ed.Planeta 2018, Spain), “Alas de Maguey. The struggle of Eufrosina Cruz Mendoza “(ed. Casa de las Palabras, 2012, Mexico),” Timing “(Amazon).

Rodulfo has lived in Mexico since 2007-2013, where he has worked as a correspondent for the Spanish newspaper “El Mundo”, as well as writing reports for “Rolling Stone”, “El Universal”, “Vogue Mexico”. She has been invited to give lectures with the theme: “The political freedom of the Mexican indigenous woman”, in the Cervantes Institute in Brussels and the Center for Mexican Studies in Antwerp. Expert in teaching about freelance journalism, she is the creator of the unique workshop in the world: “How to be a freelance journalist and not die trying”.


She currently resides in Amsterdam, from were she writes reports for “Gaceta Holandesa” (news from the Netherlands in Spanish), in addition to continuing writing and professional journalism and teaching projects such as the “Storytelling & Creativity” course.
